LASM Solar Eclipse Viewing Party

The Louisiana Art & Science Museum invites all to convene on the sidewalk around the museum on April 8 from noon until 3 pm, when the Earth, moon, and sun will be aligned in a solar eclipse the likes of which will not be witnessed for another twenty years. In LASM's Yahoo plaza, the LASM planetarium staff will offer viewers the chance to see the eclipse through an eclipse-filtered telescope and binoculars, and protective eclipse eyewear will be available for $2 while supplies last.
