LATCo. Improv Comedy Classes for Adults and Teens

LATCo. Comedy, Baton Rouge’s first long-form improv theater, has opened its first physical location in Mid-City Baton Rouge. After four years of hosting comedy shows, classes, and workshops at venues throughout the city—including at the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge and Phil Brady’s—LATCo. is moving into the Ogden Park Shopping Center, where it will offer offer improv classes to teens and adults on a weekly basis. The two-hour, six-week Intro to Improv classes take place every Tuesday beginning on January 21, and will consist of group exercises focused on listening, support, and character development, culminating in a March 8 performance for friends and family. The Teen Intro to Improv classes share a structure with the adult classes, but are designed for ages 13–16, and take place every Saturday beginning on January 25. $200.
