Opening during the Arts District's first Saturday art walk, two new exhibitions feature Louisiana artists at LeMieux Galleries this winter. In Deeper Seas, Alan Gerson continues his exploration of the mysteries of "The Deep," begun in his 2005 show Undersee. His work will be joined by Jesse Poimboeuf's descent into the relentlessness of nature in Ask Gravity, which encourages viewer-interpretation and engagement. Both exhibitions will be on display from January 4–February 29, with an opening reception during Artwalk from 6 pm–8 pm. lemieuxgalleries.com.
