Lenten Quiet Day with Mary C. Earle

Mary C. Earle, a professor of Spirituality, author, speaker, and spiritual director, will visit Grace Episcopal Church in St. Francisville to present a program on the women who retreated to the desert at the dawn of Christianity. She and guests will explore the writings and spiritual practices of the women who became the Desert Mothers as they reflect on how to apply those practices in these modern times.

Renowned theologian and Episcopal Priest, Mary C. Earle will return to Grace Church of West Feliciana to lead another riveting Lenten retreat. Throughout the day, Rev. Eale will lead us through reflections and prayers from her book The Desert Mothers: Spiritual Practices from the Women of the Wilderness. Each chapter contains a summary of the spiritual practice and a closing prayer, making it a useful tool in your devotional practice.
