Les Mains Guidées—Soap Making

This monthly series invites visitors to learn various crafts, guided by Vermilionville interpretive center's master artisans, who highlight traditions handed down by the Acadians, Creoles, and Native Americans of South Louisiana who came before us. This February, just in time for Mardi Gras, legendary Jackie Miller from Iota, LA will teach the traditional art of Courier de Mardi Gras mask making.
