2017 marks the centennial of America's involvement in what at the time was thought to be "The War to End All Wars". In remembrance of this dark but fascinating chapter of global history, the Old State Capitol will have on display dozens of original propaganda posters and artwork from the era for appreciation; come see optimistic doughboys and blood-crazed Huns as America's wartime artists depicted them. An opening reception and viewing will take place September 28 from 5 pm- 8 pm. The exhibit will be up for viewing through December 16. louisianaoldstatecapitol.org.
