For the 33rd year in a row, Shreveport celebrates the abolition of slavery in the South with its Let the Good Times Roll Festival—a rousing testament to the life and freedom of the city's African American communities today. Presented by Rho Omega & Friends, Inc. in downtown Shreveport's Festival Plaza, the event will bring non-stop live music, arts and crafts vendors, regional food vendors and more. Headliners include R&B singer and R&B Divas: Atlanta star Keke Wyatt, Houston rap icon Bun B, zydeco star Keith Frank and the Soileau Zydeco Band, R&B singer Jon B., soul singer Tony Terry, trailride blues artist Jeter Jones, and many more. And don't miss the fundraiser golf tournament at Huntington and the Let the Good Times Roll 5K. $10 per day; $25 for a weekend pass. Tickets can be purchased at eventrbite.
