The Hermann-Grima and Gallier Historic Houses are launching a new, free-to-access online database resource containing information about the enslaved individuals who once resided at the Hermann-Grima House in New Orleans. To celebrate the new resource, a talk with Historian and Genealogist Ja’el “YaYa” Gordon about the many African American individuals in the South with ties to presidential families around Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. will be held online. 6 pm.
