Join the West Feliciana Historical Society Museum for the opening of a new exhibit honoring Black History Month. Louisiana Blues: A Century of African-American Influence looks at this distinctly American, proudly African-American musical genre, which has influenced everything that has come after it while maintaining its own strong identity for decades. The opening reception Thursday will offer, in addition to a sneak peek at the exhibit, wine and cheese refreshments and music by Gordan Graham and Joe Roppolo. Exhibit opens to the public Friday. 6:30 pm. westfelicianahistory.org.
