Dive deeper into South Louisiana culture this spring with the Teche Center for the Arts' new series "Louisiana French Language and Culture," taught by Kirby Jambon.
The five-part course will explore the nature of the word "Cajun," the differences between the Creole and Cajun cultures, and the language, music, and cuisine of Louisiana's French heritage. Students will get a rare opportunity to learn a variety of vernacular Louisiana French, while processing the context of its diversities.
