Louisiana Holiday Trail of Lights
to
Statewide Baton Rouge, Louisiana

The Louisiana Holiday Trail of Lights will kick off the holiday season from November through the New Year. A unique treasure of North Louisiana, the Trail is a string of eight cities that families and friends can explore during the holidays. Travel between the cities is convenient, with each city only an hour's drive from the next: Shreveport-Bossier, Minden, Monroe-West Monroe, Natchitoches, and Alexandria/Pineville.
• Shreveport-Bossier has more than two dozen Christmas-themed events, including the "Believe—The Magic of Christmas" beginning November 27 at the Shreveport Aquarium; Christmas in Roseland starting on November 27, Rockets Over the Red River Fireworks Festival on November 27 & 28, and many, many more.
• Monroe-West Monroe kicks things off on November 9 with the lighting of the Freedom Christmas Trees at the Chennault Aviation & Military Museum. Candy Cane Land lights up next on November 22, with a self-guided driving tour featuring one-million lights, tunnels, and more. Many more lights to see at venues like Santa's Christmas Village, by sleigh through Landry Vineyards, and more.
• Natchitoches turns on another year of its beloved Festival of Lights every weekend from November 21 through January 6, where families can experience fireworks shows, shopping, and food along the festively bedecked historical riverfront and downtown Natchitoches.
• Alexandria/Pineville promises a series of merry markets, holiday open houses, the Pineville Christmas Parade, and the annual Holiday lightings of the water towers.
• Minden will hold its Christmas Market on Main with its festival and parade, showcasing its historic Old World charm with a plethora of downtown shops with late hours, as well as display of more than a hundred life-sized nutcrackers.
From November to December, families can experience parades, fireworks shows, holiday exhibits, shopping excursions, and entertainment in any of the eight cities along the Trail.
