Louisiana Iris Bloom Celebration

Join the Greater New Orleans Iris Society at the Northlake Nature Center boardwalk to witness the spring bloom of native Louisiana irises. The society relocated these plants from areas where they were in danger of being disturbed by future construction and development, and this will be their first spring flowering. The Mandeville Rotary Club will provide "Café" in the pavilion so that you can enjoy coffee or tea and sweet confections from local bakeries while taking in the spectacular view.
