Lafayette plays host to the Louisiana Seafood Cookoff again this year, as chefs from across the state gather to compete in the Cajundome for the title of King or Queen of Louisiana Seafood. Who will take top honors? Competitors this year include Chef Nathan Richard of Cavan (New Orleans), Chef Willie Gaspard of Cypress Bayou (Charenton), Chef Devan Giddix of Bourbon House (New Orleans), Chef Johnnie Landry of Little Big Cup (Arnaudville), Chef Jerry Mixon of Cafe Amelie (New Orleans), Chef Justin Componation of Parish Restaurant (Monroe), Chef Marc Krampe of Social (Lafayette), Chef Brody Leblanc of Borgne (New Orleans), Chef Quintin Scrantz of Prejean's (Lafayette), Chef Wayne Cooper of The Panini Bistro (Hammond), Chef Chris Motto of Mansurs on the Boulevard (Baton Rouge), and Chef Amy Sins of Langlois (New Orleans).
