Dino Constantinides presents the Sinfonietta's thirty-fourth season with an opening concert at the LSU School of Music Recital Hall this Sunday. Always offering a variety of musical compositions, this Sunday's concert selections reflect music from the Baroque to the Contemporary, including Antonio Vivaldi, J.S. Bach, Christopher Lowry, Henry Purcell, Ricardo Risco Cortes, and Dino Constantinides himself. Constantinides' works have been performed throughout the world, with premieres at Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall. Founder, director, and conductor of the Louisiana Sinfonietta, Constantinides is also an LSU Boyd Professor and travels the world frequently as a conductor and composer.
