Louisiana Street Food Festival
Riverfront Plaza 300 South River Road, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802
Right after the Louisiana Marathon, when everyone will be good and hungry from watching other people run, over thirty Louisiana chefs will participate in the 2nd annual Louisiana Street Food Festival, presented by My House Social and Red Cake Events. The street food chefs will gather in Baton Rouge's Riverfront Plaza on January 19 after the Louisiana 5K to cook up specialty menu items for an anticipated 5,000 attendees. From food trucks, carts, and tents, from Carencro and Breaux Bridge, New Orleans and good old Baton Rouge, they'll be serving up all genres of satisfying street grub. Come willing to try (a lot of) new things. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the nonprofit Ainsley's Angels. 11 am–5 pm; Michot's Melody Makers play 1 pm–3 pm.
