New Orleans' Gallier Hall, turned into a canvas for a high-tech light installation during Luna Fête.
The Arts Council of New Orleans’ LUNA Fête (which stands for Light Up NOLA Arts) returns to position iconic local architecture as canvases for high-tech displays of cutting-edge, outdoor light installations across the city. LUNA Fête merges contemporary light, digital sculpture, motion graphics, and video mapping practices in a series of vibrant installations in Lafayette Square and along the Julia Street and Oretha Castle Haley corridors. LUNA Fête 2019 promises work from a variety of local and internationally renowned artists. Projections take place nightly from 6 pm–10 pm. artsneworleans.org.
