The February 21 installment of West Baton Rouge Museum's Lunchtime Lecture series features guest speaker Brian Costello. The author and historian, a Point Coupee native, will present "Sold into Enslavement: The tribulation and vindication of the Olivo Family of False River." This shocking and poignant account of a free Creole family abducted and sold into slavery is presented in conjunction with the museum's current Créoles du Monde exhibit, which showcases history and artifacts of Creole cultures from around the world.
