In celebration of Women’s History Month, Kelwood Contemporary Art will feature the first solo show for local conceptual photo artist Jennifer Esneault. Esneault’s work explores the theme of modern femininity by putting expectations, failures, fears, and power under a microscope. These quiet reflections give pause to those who may seek to silence the stories of women. The public is invited to opening night on Saturday, March 5 from 5 pm–9 pm. There will also be a Gallery Talk with the artist on Sunday, March 13 from 2 pm–4 pm, and a Narrative Photo Workshop on March 26 from 9 am–noon for $50 per person (register at eventbrite.com).The gallery is located at 8202 Kelwood Ave. Free.
