April at LeMieux Galleries

In Nathan Durfee's Hector Presents an Idea, a sky-high faun, clouds and redbirds brushing his shoulders, prepares to gift the viewer with a sunflower—upon which balances a cow. Nature's beauties see themselves stretched and squeezed in Durfee's eye. A new exhibit, Wild Wood & Water, collects recent paintings at LeMieux Galleries. Durfee's work is joined by the socially aware sculptures of former toy inventor Sean O'Meallie and the leering city-dwellers and puffing skyscrapers of painter David Lambert.
