The Terrebonne Parish Library System offers an impressive slate of engaging, challenging, and fun activities for members of the community. Here are a few of our favorites at the Main Library this month: 

  • Every Saturday, M Power Yoga Houma: Practice yoga on the lawn or inside (in the case of rain or extreme heat). 10:30 am–11:30 am. 
  • March 6 & 27, Southern Writers Workshop: Meet aspiring writers, find your inspiration, and refine your craft in this adult writers' workshop. 7 pm–8:30 pm. 
  • March 7, 16th Annual Jambalaya Writers' Conference. 7:30 am–6 pm. 
  • March 28, Introduction to Reiki and Energy 101: Learn about the ancient practice of Reiki in this introductory program. Kayla Matherne will answer questions and offer information on the ways Reiki can promote balance, positive energy, and deep relaxation int eh lives of those who practice.
