Marigny OctoberFeast

Turning up the burners for a fifth year running, the Marigny OctoberFeast returns to commemorate the birthday of the founder of Mandeville, Bernard de Marigny with five days of gastronomic excess that celebrate the bounty of food, wine, and art on the Northshore. A range of vintner's dinners will be offered at area restaurants on Wednesday (Bosco's, Cafe Lynn, Gallagher's 527) and Thursday (Nuvolari's, Old Rail Beer Dinner, Opal Basil). The Mandeville Marigny Octoberfeast Grand Tasting rolls around on Friday, taking over the Mandeville Trailhead with more than fifty wines, food from local restaurants, and local art from 7 pm–9 pm. A second, more exclusive tasting happens Saturday from 3 pm–5 pm at The Lang House (605 Carroll Street.) With an art stroll and live music from 6 pm at the Mandeville Trailhead.
