Ready for carnival season yet? West Baton Rouge Museum is here to help the whole family put on another layer of festive flair (and maybe learn a little in the process!) with this hands-on afternoon activity. The workshop kicks off with a scavenger hunt filled with fun surprises through the museum's current exhibitions, Créoles du Monde and Mardi Gras Indians by J. Nash Porter, which feature tidbits and images of all kinds of Carnival customs from Baton Rouge to Brazil. Finish the day triumphant with a Mardi Gras mask of your own creation! Noon–2 pm. Free.
