Master Gardener Talks: Succulents and Soil

At the Main Library this evening, two presentations from the East Baton Rouge Master Gardeners should brighten up your spring garden. First up: are yout ired of your boring, old, run-of-the-mill cactus? Explore the wide variety the world of succulents has to offer for both inside and outside growing, and the plethora of other creative things you can do with these plants.

The second talk will focus on an element of gardening that is both basic and crucial: soil. Participants will learn how to determine soil fertility and improve its quality for the best possible outcome in their home gardens.
