Maurice Sendak Memorial Exhibition

The East Baton Rouge Parish Library Children’s Services Department will display Maurice Sendak: 50 Years, Works, Reasons, a special exhibition celebrating the work of late children’s book illustrator and writer Maurice Sendak. Check out the display in the Children’s Room at the Main Branch to recapture a slice of your own childhood or share it with a young one just discovering Sendak's magical worlds. This comprehensive memorial exhibition features 50 select works by Sendak. It debuted in 2013 to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the publishing of Sendak’s universally revered book Where the Wild Things Are. Since then, the exhibition has toured the United States.
