Before the sizzling summer heat sets in, the Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo returns, this year at the Historic Pitot House and The Broadside, which will host more than twenty artists across three stages over the weekend. Celebrating its twentieth year this year, the family-friendly weekend will feature music, delicious food, art, and all kinds of other fun.
The festival strives to be a "zero-waste event" by reducing the volume and toxicity of waste and materials, conserving and recovering all resources, and not burning or burying waste—all the more reason to join in.
