This month, the Martin Lawrence Gallery presents a breathtaking series of artworks from the family collection of French-Russian modernist artist Marc Chagall (1887–1985), known for his poetic, figurative styles.
Along with Chagall's own extraordinary works, the collection includes art from some of the 20th century's greatest masters, including Picasso, Miró, and Dalí, along with works such as the Nu a l'Oiseau monotype on japon ancien, which has significant museum exhibition history, and works by artists Warhol, Murakami, Mas, Lalonde, Kostabi, Kondakova, Hofmann, Haring, Hallam, Fressinier, Francis, Erté, Deyber, Bertho, and more.
An opening reception, with refreshments and entertainment by the Yisrael Group, will be held from 6 pm–8 pm. martinlawrence.com, and the exhibition will remain on display through the end of November.
