Montgomery Gentry

Eddie Montgomery, half of the award winning duo Montgomery Gentry, will take the stage at Paragon Casino Resort this weekend, living on the dream he and his late partner, Troy Gentry began in 1999. Before Gentry's tragic death in 2017, the two made deep grooves in the world of country music, charting over twenty times on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, producing two platinum albums, and receiving awards for Favorite New Artist—Country at the 1999 American Music Awards and Duo of the Year by the Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association in 2000. They received nominations for that award by both organizations every year until Gentry's death. In 2009, they were inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.
