Journeying to Jackson this Halloween? Good, because this Friday and Saturday is when the Mississippi Museum of Art hosts its biggest, longest, modernist museum party of the year. Museum24 is an all-night multimedia extravaganza and celebratory finale for the museum's soon-to-end modern art exhibition. So seize your final chance to see pieces by Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Georgia O’Keeffe, and more than fifty others through the night, by visiting When Modern Was Contemporary: Selections from the Roy R. Neuberger Collection. The twenty-four-hour event features a wide array of performances, music, art making, specialty tours, and games by artists working in lots of disciplines, taking place concurrently throughout the museum. Mississippi musicians and performers from across the state will on the museum's C Spire stage. Visitors are invited to come look, listen, feel, eat, drink, dance—and ultimately—participate, any time, day or night, 10 am Friday—10 am Saturday.
