Discover the story of Louisiana musician Henry Turner, Jr. & Flavor through the half hour documentary Music Dreams ... An American Story, screening for free at regional libraries and museums in honor of Black History Month. The film includes musical performances and interviews with band and family members, club owners, musicians, filmmakers, and national and regional entertainment executives. It tells the story of Henry Turner, Jr.'s syncopated style of Louisiana blues, soul, funk, and reggae, and explores his upbringing, tours, and musical journey.
