National Tequila Day
A Four-Course Patrón Dinner at Nolé
Nolé Restaurant 2001 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana 70130
Johann Trasch
One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, more (or floor)—if you're a fan of this potent Mexican spirit, be sure to reserve a spot at Nolé Restaurant's National Tequila Day celebration. The special four-course Patrón dinner begins at 6:30 pm, though there is plenty opportunity for pre-gaming with Nolé's all day happy hour.
Prepare to be surprised at all the creative ways (beyond barside shots and margs) Patrón can be enjoyed, starting with a welcome Pimosa. Blue agave gets a lift in the form of Roca Patrón Silver, paired with blue crab street corn; or Roca Patrón Reposado beside BBQ shrimp and grits. FInally, Chef Chris Lusk will bring in chicken tinga tacos and Roca Patrón Anejo—before topping it all off with olive oil chocolate cake and Patrón XO Café.
Patrón representative Andy Tamburo will make sure you've got a little knowledge to take home, with his Margarita 101 class, instructing on the proper way to mix your lime juice, sweet and sours, and—you guessed it—Patrón.
6:30–9 pm. Tickets are $60 at Eventbrite.
