New Year's Eve Virtual Champagne Tasting & Concert
Ring in 2021 at home with the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, and bubbles.
After a year like 2020, champagne is called for. So, the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra and Martin Wine & Spirits are presenting a virtual champagne tasting lead by Maureen Lara-Fournier from Vintus/Bollinger, with musical interludes by Rachel and Nicholas Ciraldo. Following the tasting, the Ciraldos will present a half-hour concert. Tickets include a tasting kit that comprises two bottles of wines (Langlois Brut Rose Cremant de Loire and Champagne Bollinger Special Cuvee), as well as your choice of a charcuterie board or a smoked salmon board. Attendees must be twenty-one years of age or older. Tasting kits may be picked up at Martin Wine Cellar, 1670 Lobdell Ave, starting Tuesday afternoon, December 29. Tasting kits start at $250, with $130 a tax-deductible donation to BRSO. 7 pm–8:30 pm. To reserve, call (225) 383-0500 or visit brso.org.
