Nicholls Camerata

The Pelican State Chamber Music Series, presented by the Pointe Coupee Historical Society, closes out the season with a visit from Nicholls Camerata, a chamber ensemble consisting of students of the string program at Nicholls State University. Students in this program come from all over the world and have won prizes in national and international competitions. The Camerata performs, without conductor, a repertoire ranging from Baroque to modern music. Sunday's program will feature Mozart, Beethoven, and Bartok, with guest soloist cellist Dennis Parker.
