Nuit Belge
Seize the night by pairing craft Belgian-style beers with bites from local chefs.
Generations Hall 310 Andrew Higgins Drive, New Orleans, Louisiana 70130
Lucie Monk Carter
Jester King Brewery in Austin, TX, will bring many of its beloved brews to New Orleans' third annual Nuit Belge.
The inaugural Nuit Belge happened on March 14, 2015, in Nashville, Tennessee, showcasing Belgian beers and the finest that the Nashville cuisine scene had to dish up. The five-hundred-ticket event was a sellout success, so Rhizome Productions took Nuit Belge on the road, and will be back to New Orleans' Generations Hall this March. Here, they will pair a heady selection of Belgium's rare specialty brews (think saisons, sours, and lambics) with morsels from some of the city's best restaurants, including Cochon Butcher, Turkey and the Wolf, Saffron, Peche, Mopho, Coquette, Angeline, Boucherie, Toups Meatery, and many more. $89–$139. 7 pm–10 pm general admission, with a 5:45 pm–7 pm VIP session for those who to have first crack at things. 21+ only, for obvious reasons. nuitbelge.com/new-orleans.
