Of Moving Colors: Sofa Stories

Who knew the dancers of Of Moving Colors were a bunch of couch potatoes? Well, not exactly. Baton Rouge's endlessly creative dance troupe is taking inspiration from all the momentous life events that happen to take place on the sofa: snacking, snuggling, binge-watching, breaking up. The intertwining stories feature original choreography with the mood undulating from playful to solemn to humdrum. “No matter what someone’s connections to their couch may be, this show will speak to everyone in some way,” said Associate Artistic Director Courtney Landry.  “We dive into things as fun as fort building and watching football, and as un-fun as hangovers and laundry, with many stops along the way.” 7:30 pm both nights at the Manship. $13–$35. manshiptheatre.org.
