Ogden After Hours: Denise Marie & Marcel Koster

On Thursday evenings, the Ogden Museum of Southern Art kindly stays open a few hours longer, enhancing its hospitality with strains of sultry music heard 'round the block and tempting all indoors. This week, enjoy the virtuosic duo of Denise Marie & Marcel Koster. Marie, raised as a gypsy soul in upstate New York, has made her way through Santa Fe to New Orleans, picking up the jazz guitar, the finger-picking blues, trumpets, saxes, and accordions along the way. Her husband, Marcel Koster was born with with drumsticks in his hands, and has an affinity for Dutch classics.
