Miscast at Motown

New Venture Theatre solidifies its reputation as one of the area's most creative theatre company's with its annual One Night Only fundraising gala. This year, Baton Rouge's most recognizable faces are performing Motown hits that they'd never be asked to sing anywhere else. New Venture aims to demonstrate the power of live theatre with stories told through the lens of the African American experience. 

An auction of one-of-a-kind experiences and complimentary wine and cheese will also be on offer. Cocktail hour and silent auction at 7 pm; performances at 8 pm. Frank Hayden Hall (F Street/ Elton C. Harrison Drive) at Southern University. newventuretheatre.org.
