Opening Reception for Painting Color

The opening reception for Painting Color, curated by Baton Rouge artist Susan Bonfils, takes place tonight at 6 pm at Glassell Gallery. The exhibition features abstract works from some of the leading abstract color painters working today. Represented among the works, which were scouted during a recent trip to New York City, are Steven Alexander, Siri Berg, Gabriele Evertz, Jane Logemann, Robert Swain, Stephen Westfall, and Sanford Wurmfeld. On view until January 6, 2017. A panel discussion on color will be held Sunday, November 13, from 1:30 pm–3:30 pm. 100 Lafayette Street.
