to
Hammond Regional Arts Center 217 East Thomas Street, Hammond, Louisiana 70404
On display at the Hammond Regional Arts Center this month: collected artworks by two lifelong artists—Dorothy Oray and William H. Derbins. Oray's marble sculptures examine barriers as obstacles to communicating and the human condition in general. Derbins' paintings, drawings, sculpture, and furniture, on the other hand, reflect his own experiences working at advertising firms in New Orleans during the mid-20th century.
Both exhibitions will be on display throughout October, with an opening reception fro 5 pm–8 pm on October 4. hammondarts.org.
