Paddle Down Da Bayou

Come spend some quality time on the water, paddling along Bayou Petit Caillou in any non-motorized boat and life vest. Stop along the way to visit the unique Chauvin Sculpture Garden, where, blessedly, drinks and restroom facilities will be available. A post-paddle party will follow at the Little Caillou Volunteer Fire Department pavilion, where you can enjoy crawfish boil, music, door prizes, children’s activities, volleyball and more. $35 adults, $25 children includes t-shirt, light breakfast, crawfish for lunch, beverages, souvenir miniature hand carved paddle, insurance, and entertainment (a steal at that price). 8 am. paddledowndabayou.org.
