"Paddling Along the Edge" Canoe Tours

Bayou Lacombe Center is offering free naturalist-led canoe tours at Big Branch Marsh. See native wildlife and explore the cultural history of the edge of Lake Pontchartrain while paddling a coastal bayou from forest to marshland. All equipment and canoes provided. Designed for adults, but children 5 and up admitted. Must be prepared to paddle for two to three hours. 9 am–noon at Bayou Lacombe Center. fws.gov/refuge/big_branch_marsh.
