Painting Color

Painting Color, curated by Baton Rouge artist Susan Bonfils, will feature abstract works from some of the leading abstract color painters working today. Represented among the works, which were scouted during a recent trip to New York City, are Steven Alexander, Siri Berg, Gabriele Evertz, Jane Logemann, Robert Swain, Stephen Westfall, and Sanford Wurmfeld. The exhibition, to be held at Glassell Gallery, will be on view until January 6, 2017, with an artist reception on November 12 at 6 pm. A panel discussion on color will be held Sunday, November 13, from 1:30 pm–3:30 pm. Sponsored by Nadine Carter Russell, in memory of her most beloved art professor, Paul A.
