"Paths and Loops" Poetry Workshop with Clare L. Martin

Ekphrasis (n): a literary description of, or commentary on, a visual work of art. 

Tuning into the meditative practice that informs John F. Simon, Jr.'s work in the Hilliard's summer exhibit, Paths and Loops, participants of this workshop will learn to write ekphrastic poetry generated by, and in response to, his artworks. Practiced poets and enthusiastic novices alike are invited to this enlightening workshop, led by poet and author Clare L. Martin. 10 am–1 pm. Space is limited, reserve your spot here.
