A new reason to crunch through the leaves: Ponchatoula Fall Festival puts down roots this year, thanks to the Kiwanis Club, in Ponchatoula Memorial Park. Expect carnival rides, live music, crafts and games, an alligator petting zoo, and the knock-you-off-your-feet aroma of a barbecue competition.
