Preserve Tangi150

Tangipahoa Parish turns 150 this year, and who would pass up the chance for a sesquicentennial photography exhibition? Until July 5, photographic submissions of any town, city, or community in Tangi will be considered. Results of the contest will be curated for a showing at the Hammond Regional Arts Center. The show will open with a reception on Friday, July 12, from 5 pm–8 pm and remain on view until July 26. More photos from the contest will be displayed during Hot August Night (August 23) and at the 150th Anniversary Celebration at the Florida Parishes Arena (September 21). hammondarts.org.
