National Public Lands Celebration

Round up some friends and family and head to Port Hudson SHS today in honor of the  annual National Public Lands Day. Volunteers are called to state park sites all over the country to remove trash and clear minor vegetation. At Port Hudson, that will entail helping park rangers as they remove litter, rubbish, and other debris from along the park's 6.5-mile trail system. 10 am–2 pm at 236 Highway 61.
