Before there was RENT (and its 525,600 minutes), there was its inspiration: La Bohème, the most performed opera in the history of the Metropolitan. After an eight-year hiatus, it will be New Orleans Opera Association’s final production of the 2021-2022 season. Metropolitan Opera conductor Joseph Colaneri will make his New Orleans debut with the project at the Mahalia Jackson Theatre. 7:30 pm Friday, 2:30 pm Sunday.
