Pumpkins for Pack 'n Plays

Recovery efforts continue as area families struggle to rebuild following last year's flood. Now, Family Road of Greater Baton Rouge is calling attention to one particular need: safe spaces for babies to sleep. In "Pumpkins for Pack 'n Plays," a simple $50 donation will assist a family in need—and donors get the added bonus of taking home a pumpkin hand-painted by local artists. 10 am–2 pm at the Alexander's Highland Market, during the October pop-up farmers market. familyroadgbr.org.
