In celebration of twenty years spent offering spiritual enrichment and personal growth, The Red Shoes is offering three days of classes, free of fees, though donations are encouraged. Here's the lineup:
November 1—The Red Shoes: A Fairy Tale Comes to Life
Discover the meaning of the fairy tale that explains the organization's name and mission with Joan McCaskill and Anne Marks. 7 pm–8:30 pm.
November 2—The Wonders of the Red Shoes
Hopes for the Holidays: Create a vision board to inspire intentions for the upcoming holidays with Monique Moliere Piper. 10 am–11 am.
Meditation and Yoga Nidra: Relax, breathe, and connect with Source as DeeDee Jones guides a class in relaxation and peace. 11:30 am–12:30 pm.
Favorite Local Artist Shares Her Style: Hear the inside story about the process of creating art and inspiration from a local artist. 1 pm–2 pm.
Dream Discovery: Explore the universal language of dreams to unlock a deeper understanding of yourself with Joan McCaskill. 4 pm–5 pm.
Yoga for Every-Body: Breathwork and gentle movement will release tension as Tina Ufford offers a calm, restorative experience. 5:30 pm–6:30 pm.
November 3—20th Birthday Celebration Open House Party
Join The Red Shoes to blow out the candles on twenty years. Hear inspirational stories told by women in the community, and hear the "birth story" from founder Roberta Guillory. There will be a silent auction and refreshments. 2 pm–4 pm.
