Local daughter-mother duo, New Orleans-based author Jeanette Weiland and her Baton Rouge-based artist mother Roberta Van Zandt Loflin, will be perform a reading, lead an activity, and sign copies of their new children's book Red Beans & Rice in time for the holiday season at the following locations in New Orleans and Baton Rouge:

December 16: 

The Shops at the Historic New Orleans Collection, 10 am–noon.

The Louisiana Children's Museum in New Orleans, 2 pm–4 pm.

December 17:

The Knock Knock Children's Museum in Baton Rouge, 2 pm–4 pm.
