Relief Printmaking at The Masur Museum

The Relief Printmaking Workshop with Stefan Nodarse will introduce its participants to the wonderful world of relief painting with linoleum through four, two-hour classes. Using the Kōgyo: Japanese Theatre Woodblock exhibition, traditional Japanese printmaking will be explored along with contemporary printing materials. Ukiyo-e or "pictures of the floating world" influence the theme of this class, with an emphasis on every day life, theatre, the human body, folk tales, and landscapes. All materials will be provided, spaces are limited. $80 museum members; $100 non-members. 2 pm—4 pm. masurmuseum.org.
