Relief Printmaking at The Masur Museum

The Relief Printmaking Workshop with Stefan Nodarse will introduce its participants to the wonderful world of relief painting with linoleum through four, two-hour classes. Using the Kōgyo: Japanese Theatre Woodblock exhibition, traditional Japanese printmaking will be explored along with contemporary printing materials. Ukiyo-e or "pictures of the floating world" influence the theme of this class, with an emphasis on every day life, theatre, the human body, folk tales, and landscapes.
